I went here yesterday night after a rough day and it is crazy how a good meal can turn your whole day around. Portion sizes are great and you can even get extra noodles for free! I highly recommend the beef brisket noodles with a side of the fried chicken drumsticks. The atmosphere was also really nice, perfect for a solo diner. My waitress (unfortunately I didn't catch her name) was also fantastic. In all, this place is amazing for a cold night solo dinner.
This restaurant is an introverts dream. Attended for lunch service which offers a 20% discount between 2-5pm so the meal was very affordable. The cubby’s are very spacious and there was no restricted seating time. I tried the braised beef noodle soup which was easily the best noodles soup dish I’ve ever had, no notes. The noodles were cooked perfectly, the beef was flavorful and tender, every element of the dish came together so harmoniously. Even the pickled cucumber that came with the dish was the best I’ve ever had. Dessert of jackfruit with sweet coconut rice was nice as well. You can feel the care and respect that these ingredients were given. Server was very kind and welcoming. Will definitely return to try other menu items.
They’re known for being a solo dining spot but they also have space for bigger groups on the other side of the restaurant. The staff were super friendly and it’s a great spot to catch up with friends or for a meal with family. I got the Yunnan Green Tea signature iced lemon tea and it was really refreshing. Super cozy food, perfect for a cold day. We got the street style crispy potatoes (five spice) and refreshing cold salad as the appetizers. For the main, we got the slow cooked garlic pork shoulder and the crispy pork fat and meat sauce with noodles. Both were a great portion size and the soup was flavourful. For dessert, we got the fragrant osmanthus with taro paste and red bean, super unique and not too sweet.
